This family line came to Baltimore, Maryland in the 1880’s from Murr, a village near Ludwigsburg, Germany. The immigrant ancestors were Karl Frederick Buehler and his wife Dorothy Fredericke Ziegler, Karl Vogel and his wife (Dorothy’s sister) Wilhelmina Ziegler, and Frederick Ziegler (brother of Dorothy and Wilhelmina). They were accompanied by other members of the Ziegler family, including their father, Gottlob Ziegler, and 3 other Ziegler sisters; Caroline, Bertha and Louise.
